Give me a kiss, but but don't give me no lip!

Thu Mar 25, 2004, 11:39 AM
I've just returned from excercise Joint Winter, and with me I have a lot of "war" photos from all the cute litte battles there. I think of posting them in black and white as a salut to Robert Capa. The thought amuses me. But, I guess I won't. Now I have to finnish off some articles before sucking up some nightime in my bed.

Thanks! I really don't do much photography besides the army. I didn't photograph at all before octobober. That's when I got this journalist/photographer-position. Before that I was a medic for a couple a months, and I am now getting very close to completion of my one year service, and dimmitation. Before you stamp me a right wing loonie, bear in mind that in Norway all menatally and physically capable men, have a lawwriiten duty to serve one year in the army. I wouldn't have chosen this. Never!

But I guess the experience come in handy, as I will study journalism in Oslo next year. Something I look very much forward to. Maybe I''ll start photographing normal tings then.

Peace - Kjetil

i hope you continue your photography as if you started only in October i am sure you have a bright future in photography.

yeah i knew that national service is compulsory in Norway (there was an exchange student at my 6th form a few years ago. i wish we had national service, i think that the British population could learn alot from it as it appears most of the Brit young people as lazy bastards.

you aren't a right wing loonie ;), what i meant was that alot of people have the perception of the military as a bunch of right wing loonies when they aren't.
